What is the RKC?
Claire & Roger are proud to be RKC level II qualified instructors.
The Russian Kettlebell Challenge (RKC) is a school of strength that teaches fundamental principles of movement in order to function, feel & look better.
‘School’ is a great way to describe the RKC as it reflects the desire of those within to keep learning, discussing & progressing. We also have a commitment to abide by their rules & re-certify every two years to retain our qualification.

Many training organisations in the fitness industry keep their standards low & as long as you pay the fee you’ll get the certificate. The RKC does the opposite by demanding an ever increasing standard & that’s why we’re proud to be amongst their ranks.
There are numerous other systems out there & if you care to trawl through the mire of internet forums you’ll find countless heated debates about which is better, RKC or CrossFit, AoS, AKC & many more. Each school does things slightly differently, but ultimately the aim is the same & all are laudable. So, we’re not here to bash anyone else’s choice, but in our considerable experience we’ve found the RKC’s methods to be both the safest & most effective.
