Bodyology Total Health System

We couldn't find what we wanted, so we've made our own!

We’re often asked which weight loss system we recommend. Well there are certainly plenty about, each with pros & cons, but we’ve never seen one we don’t think is flawed.

So, why not do our own the way we’d like it? Oh, ok then, we have.

It’s called the Bodyology Total Health System.

Join our Saturday Circuits class at 0930 and/or Tuesday Kettlebelles at 1000 plus benefit from a weekly weigh-in, tailored eating plan & all the advice, support & guidance you need. Starting in May, enjoy one class per week for £50 a month or two per week for £80.

Bank Holiday Classes

Rejoice! All classes are on as normal over the spring bank holiday weekend. However, in patriotic homage to the national festivities, we’ll be lifting in pounds instead of kilograms.

In addition, the kettlebell class at 1700 on bank holiday Monday is open to gents as well as ladies. Let us know you’re coming so we can keep an eye on numbers.

Have you ever wanted to run 5km or more, but don’t know where to start?

Have you ever started the process but your times never seemed to improve, or you ended up with an injury, so you just gave up?

Here’s the missing ingredient – nobody’s ever taught you how to run!!

You can achieve a realistic goal of running 5km after only 8 weeks

Starting this month, here’s your opportunity to learn safe & effective running technique.

You will use the correct muscles & movements, building up gradually over a few weeks to help keep you injury free.

You’ll also discover how to strengthen the muscles you need to become (& stay!) an efficient, healthy runner.

To achieve a body capable of running distance and improving times you need a balanced training approach & a good foundation to help prevent injuries – at Bodyology we give you the tools to do this.

You can achieve a realistic goal of running 5km or running continuously for 30 minutes after only 8 weeks.

Your program includes:

  • Stretches, warm ups, cool downs & conditioning work
  • Nutrition advice for a well-fuelled body
  • Gait & posture analysis to personalise your program
  • Skills & drills each week to help you reach your goal

Snow Update

Fresh snow this morning has brought plenty of traffic problems to the area around the studio & across Bracknell. We’re operating as normal, so if you’re confident you can get here safely let us know.

We’ll be in touch with everyone directly if the situation changes at this end.

If you’re booked in for an appointment or class, please let us know as early as possible if you’re not able to come in.

Swinging out the old year

Thanks to Sarah, Anna, David, Pete & Martin who collectively worked off a bundle of Christmas calories today during the last kettlebell class of 2009.

Please remember, there’s no circuits class this Saturday, but classes & opening hours are back to normal as of Monday 4th January.

Wednesday & Friday regulars: don’t forget it’s double trouble in January as the first week is the test workout as well as the usual last week of the month. Don’t say we never give you anything.

We love teaching the classes & hope you’ve all enjoyed them throughout the year too. Thanks for all your hard work & we promise there’s lots more to come in 2010.

A kettlebell class in sunnier times

A hot mug of steaming kudos to Rich, Adam & David who braved the snow & ice to make the last kettlebell class before Christmas.

At a time when many cars had been abandoned & most folk were more concerned with central heating & last-minute shopping, an hour of bells was not the easy option.

So their efforts were admirably rewarded I gave them a special gift I call ‘The Twelve Exercises of Christmas’. Regulars at my circuit classes in recent years will be familiar with the format & therefore rightly have some sympathy for the victims. (more…)
